    East Cork has a wealth of golden beaches and rocky coves with fishing opportunities. The historic and extremely picturesque town of Kinsale, which is 26 miles, has many things to do both on and off the water. Boat trips, horse riding and fishing are all available locally. There are fishing opportunities, boat trips to other islands or a pizza and pint evening in Baltimore. With ferries running every two hours from 8am until 6pm (sometimes later in summer), you can experience the delights of the mainland. Skibbereen is 8 miles.
