The village is situated at the foot of the Vosges mountains offering hiking and biking trails. Visit the Alsatian Valley, easily accessible, to discover the historic city of Strasbourg, the wine road, Colmar, Ribeauvillé, the medieval castle of Haut-Koenigsbourg in Kintzheim, the ’Volerie des Aigles’ and ’La Montagne des Singes’. If you prefer outdoor activities, the Lac de la Pierre Percée will be ideal and is less than 40km away. Many village festivals are held in summer in Alsace, the perfect occasion to taste the famous ’Flammekueche’. The swimming pool at La Plaine is open in July and August. Many low mountain hikes are possible from the holiday house, but you can also treat yourself to the canyoning and cycling on the greenway. The golf course at Giez is a few minutes drive.
