The living area has pretty views over the garden and retains many of the original features such as stone walls and wooden beams. There is a garden area with barbecue where you can enjoy the beautiful views over the vineyards and the tranquillity of the countryside. For children, there is a large wooden playframe as well as various other toys. The large enclosed garden gives plenty of outside room and the terrace has an electric sunblind should the sun get a bit too strong! There are a couple of small shops and restaurants within a 10-minute walk, and the village centre is within 1.5km. There is a sailing school within 1km, tennis in the village, two surfing schools at Les Conches beach, 7km, and plenty of cycle paths. The less active may prefer a stroll through the big market at La Tranche, 12km, or along the famous promenade at Les Sables-d’Olonne, 22km.
