Both offer guests tranquil accommodation amidst peaceful countryside surroundings. Maison de Lilli (F50200) peeks out from behind a hedge hiding its traditional Colombage exterior from passers-by. Inside, thoughtful detailing has guarded the spirit of the original property whilst providing a cosy yet spacious interior for guests. Although smaller than its sister property, Maison de Grâce (F50216) takes full advantage of its more compact dimensions by offering a comfortable and charmingly appointed open-plan living area and includes an elegant four-poster bed. Both cottages boast private garden areas with views over the surrounding countryside. The pretty hillside town of Mortain is within easy driving distance and is well known for its historic abbey and cascading waterfalls. A little further afield lies the ancient town of Domfront whose half-timbered houses and narrow streets remind visitors of its 11th century origins.
