Local footpaths, including a sculpture trail, lead off close to the house. Situated on a private drive, the cottage has an open plan living area with log fire and plenty of space for sitting outside. Josselin, with its imposing château overlooking the scenic Nantes-Brest Waterway is close by, as are the market towns of Malestroit, La Gacilly and Rochefort-en-Terre. The lake of Ploërmel (12km) offers watersports, or enjoy a day by the Gulf of Morbihan or the turquoise waters of Locmariaquer. The neighbouring village of Monteneuf, just 1.5km away, includes a bakery. Bread can be ordered from here at the restaurant/bar in this village of Réminiac and collected the day after.
