Visit Orange (16km) with its Roman architecture and theatre, museums, market and its fine Triumphal Arch of Orange. Stop off in Montélimar (39km) and taste some of their nougat or Nyons (42km) famed for its olives. Further afield is Avignon (46km) with its Notre Dame des Doms cathedral, Palais des Papes and Pont d’Avignon.
