    Auxais is a rural village just 12km from the town of Carentan which has a variety of shops, restaurants and a weekly market as well as tennis courts and an outdoor swimming pool.

    The seaside resort of Courseulles-sur-Mer is approximately an hour’s drive and well worth a visit for its harbour, town centre and the famous Normandy landing beaches.
