    This 15th-century town house is not your everyday holiday home. Set in the medieval village of Turenne, surrounded by rolling Corrèze countryside and close to Lot (6km) and Dordogne (15km). The property is on 3 floors, each being accessed by a château style staircase (unsuitable for people with mobility concerns), and the exposed stone walls, original features, antique furniture and hanging tapestries give a real sense of going back in time. Turenne, although on the tourist trail (11th-century château open to the public), still maintains a quiet charm. Visit Collonges-la-Rouge, 9km, Meyssac, 11km, or Bétaille, 22km, with its aqua park. Alternatively, visit Gluges, 20km, and Rocamadour, 37km, which is a cliff village in a natural gorge (UNESCO World Heritage Site). Shop 11km and restaurant 50m.

    This holiday house is in Étables-sur-Mer, on the outskirts of the large resort of Binic, which has beautiful sandy beaches. Its design is very original as the living spaces and the sleeping area are completely separated by a terrace. The grounds are fenced, sheltered and not overlooked. The beach of Godelins is only a few hundred meters away, and Binic is quite close too, with its lively beaches, port, casino, leisure centre, as well as restaurants and créperies. For the amateurs, the Golf des Ajoncs d’Or in Lantic is close by. Shop 600m, restaurant 300m and beach 1.1km.

A trip north takes you into the Cevennes Regional Nature Park, a haven for nature lovers and walking enthusiasts.
