In October 2009, the holiday property received a 2 stars award by the Aude Department Tourist Authority. The two floors above are unoccupied, with the staircase secured for small children. 8km to the east awaits endless miles of golden sandy beaches. 2km to the north admire the flora and fauna around the Bages and Sigean lagoon. Head west into the Corbières massif to explore the Cathar castles. Head south to the Catalan capital of Perpignan (36km) and maybe continue on into Spain.
