    This property is a unique place for an unforgettable holiday and has a beautiful private outdoor swimming pool (open mid May to mid Sep). It lies quietly just outside Padirac in the triangle formed by Figeac, Cahors and Brive-la-Gaillarde, each being 50-60km away. Lot is one of the most beautiful French regions, and the Gulf of Padirac is definitely worth a visit, as is Rocamadour - a village that seems to be set into the face of a rock. If the Dordogne Valley interests you, then the stunning medieval town of Belvès (15km), and some of the most beautiful villages of France, are worth visiting. Nearby are Saint Cyprien and its Sunday market (26km), Beynac with its châteaux, restaurants and canoe hire, Gabarre (35km), Castelnaud (30km) and Sarlat (47km) with its Saturday market, music shows, shops, restaurants and breathtaking architecture. Or if the Vézère Valley appeals to you, then Les Eyzies (37km) is the place to see with its cave paintings by the first modern human beings, and National Pre-history Museum. The upper section of the large grounds has a securely enclosed pasture that contains two resident goats and six chickens (eggs are offered to guests), and the discreet house-keeper visits daily to feed and water them and cut the lawns when needed.
