It makes a perfect holiday retreat for a couple, and has a delightful garden with different seating areas, as well as an outdoor swimming pool (6m², open mid May - mid September). Gourdon, with its medieval houses lies 12km away and is rich in prehistoric sites. There are many pretty villages surrounding it, each with their own charm. A visit to Sarlat, about 30km away, is also recommended - it is officially listed as a ‘Town of Art and History’ and boasts many medieval buildings, mostly built in honey-coloured stone.
