    This traditional villa is set in an elevated position on the edge of the village of Sault, with views across to the Provencal hills and the Mont Ventoux. The ground floor accommodation is furnished with country antique furniture and is comfortable and traditional in style. Outside there are large grounds and a good sized pool which is occasionally shared with the owner’s family next door and occupants of first floor apartment. Sault has a Provençal market every Wednesday and is famous for its lavender production, honey, nougat, truffles, mushrooms and game. The summit of Mont Ventoux can be seen from all around, and there are wonderful scenic drives in all directions varying from pine forests to vineyards, medieval castles and plunging gorges. Visit Montbrun-les-Bains, 12km, which has the Valvital health spa and resort, unique in this region. The ’Papal City’ of Avignon, Carpentras with its Friday market, Apt and the Luberon hill villages are just to the south. This is a wonderful area for walkers and cyclists to visit with many marked trails. Bike hire is available in the village.
