Sheep graze the plateaux and provide milk for production of Roquefort cheese. Roquefort-sur-Soulzon is 11km, with visits and tasting in the caves a must. Medieval stone villages abound, rich in the history of the Knights Templar, including the hamlet of Montclaret clinging to hilltop circled by ravines with spectacular views.
