This spacious holiday property is a pleasant detached house, with a lawned garden and is situated on the edge of a small town. Mûr-de-Bretagne is a pretty market town surrounded by forests and lakes and home to the historic Bon Repos Abbey, which is a beautiful restored monument where art exhibitions are held. This an ideal base for discovering the many treasures of the Argoat region of Brittany.
Interesting places to visit include the town of Quintin (31km), famous for its former weaving industry and châteaux, the picturesque, medieval town of Moncontour (42km), and the large riverside town of Pontivy (25km) which is well worth a visit for its historic monuments, extensive range of shops, supermarkets and restaurants. A little further afield is Vannes (68km), a harbour town renowned for its medieval streets and aquariam.
Other activities in the area include fishing in the lake (800m), a public swimming pool (15km) and a golf course (45km).
