The possibilities for day excursion are varied and await in all directions. The Cevennes regional nature park is to the west and the Gorges de l’Ardèche to the east. If it is not just beautiful scenery that’s required head south to discover some of the most visited sites of France. The Pont-du-Gard, one of the wonders of the ancient world. Uzés famous for its pottery and impressive Saturday market which invades the whole of the town centre. The historical towns of Nîmes and Avignon are both within 80km, and only slightly further afield the nature park of La Camargue and the golden sandy beaches of the Mediterranean.
