This traditional stone house is surrounded by stunning woodlands 2km from the pretty little village of Villac, found in the Périgord Noir and situated just on the borders of the Dordogne and Corrèze regions. Nestled at the end of a woodland track, amongst 30 private hectares, this 16th century house has a number of original features including exposed stone walls and inglenook fireplace. Some authentic oak beams remain but where replaced, the owners son, a master carpenter, has created a ceiling any château would be proud of. The interior is of a good standard but most holiday makers would spend the maximum of time in the delightful, tranquil surroundings either by the outdoor swimming pool (61m²), woodland walks, dining al fresco or tucked away on the upper rear terrace for a daily sieste. The central barn and bread oven both belong to the owner and are well maintained. Perfectly placed for those who wish to discover this region’s walking by the River Dordogne, and the property is within easy access to numerous historical sites and local markets! Terrasson 11km (all facilities, restos, jardins de l’imaginaire), Montignac 20km (Lascaux caves), Sarlat 40km (médiéval town, markets, restaurants). Brive 30km. Shop and restaurant 10km.

Steps to entrance. Lounge/diner, kitchen, shower room with toilet, separate toilet and basin, 3 double bedrooms. Mezzanine with twin beds and en-suite shower (no toilet).
