The Saint-Mathieu quarter, one of the oldest parts of Morlaix, is popular with tourists with its cobbled streets, timber framed buildings and many traditional shops and cafes. There is much to do in the nearby city of Lannion, including visiting the Monastery on the hill top or the Chapelle des Ursulines or simply taking a walk through the centre and admiring the pretty buildings, some of which date back to the middle ages.
