This 18th-century manor house is set in mature gardens on the edge of the village of Taulé. It has many original features combined with modern comfort. There are lounges on both ground and first floors with beamed ceilings, arched stone doorways and an imposing central staircase. Taulé makes a great base for a family beach holiday with sheltered sandy beaches at the family-friendly Carantec just 5km away. The bay of Morlaix, including the picturesque port of Roscoff, with its many islands accessible by ferry or at low tide, provides a very wide variety of activities for all the family. Further west are the long, unspoilt beaches of Santec and Plougoulm, with fine, pale sand; to the east are the picturesque coves and prehistoric monuments of Barnenez. The medieval market town of Morlaix, 6km, has half-timbered houses, cobbled streets and port, and is the perfect place for an evening stroll. Shop and restaurant 500m. Beach 8km.
