North Yorkshire is famous for its stately homes, and Sledmere Hall, Burton Agnes Hall, Sewerby Hall and Castle Howard are all within a short drive. The Cleveland Way passes this coastline and you are a couple of minutes from the trail. There are fantastic clifftop walks along the rugged coastline with lots of little coves to explore. If you wish to travel further afield, the city of York is a must - one of England’s finest and most beautiful cities, and Hull - voted the city of culture for 2017.
