There are many events going on all year round including Whitby’s own Regatta, Folk Week, music weekends and Goth weekends which offer something to please everyone. If you would like to travel further afield you can visit many pretty coastal resorts dotted along the coast from Whitby including Robin Hood’s Bay, Runswick Bay, Sandsend and Staithes which are all worth a day out. The seaside town of Scarborough is only 20 miles away and the stunning historic city of York is only one hour away.
