Each cottage overlooks a private rock garden with the facility of a fully enclosed south facing garden, complete with fruit trees, barbecue and a charming arbour bench! There is also a games room with pool table, darts and board games.
    Situated in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, Roof Stones overlooks Wensleydale fells, moors, the River Ure and the unspoilt countryside between. Nestled on the outskirts of the bustling market town of Hawes, only a 5 minute walk,  with its county-renowned deli, the famous Wensleydale Creamery, Ropemakers Centre, restaurants, five pubs, tea rooms, bistro, clothes shops and lovely gift shops. For adventurous guests there are two complimentary fishing passes for the River Ure - just a short walk over the adjacent field. And there are local walks a-plenty! (maps provided).

    Riverdale is a beautiful character terraced cottage superbly situated in the centre of Bainbridge, itself in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales. The cottage was previously part of a cottage hotel and has been made into a lovely holiday home. Bainbridge is a pretty village, with its green, several shops, tea rooms, and local pub less than 500 yards from the cottage. There is a riding centre about a mile west of the village. The cottage is spacious with three large bedrooms, one of which is en-suite, and a wood burner in the living room makes this the perfect holiday cottage. Aysgarth Falls and the market town of Hawes with pubs, shops and restaurants are both 4 miles away, with Hardraw Force just beyond Hawes. The village of Askrigg is within easy walking distance just 1½ miles away. Famous walks and cycle rides, including one around Semerwater with its inland beach, and waterfalls and Roman road on the return leg, can be accessed straight from the door. Fishing can be found 200 yards away. Shop 500 yards, pub and restaurant 250 yards.

The bustling market town of Skipton is only a short drive away, or there is a regular bus network. Ilkley, Harrogate and York offer alternative days out. A wonderful holiday cottage, ideal for enjoying the fantastic Yorkshire Dales.
