There are two hand (pull) cable ferries to cross the river at Symonds Yat, and plenty of pubs and picnic sites on either side of the riverbank, don’t forget to try the local Wye Valley Brewery and local ciders. An array of outdoor pursuits can be found locally, such as walking, golfing, riding, canoeing, mountain biking, climbing, caving, paint-balling, lazer tag, archery and shooting.
