  • Pudding Cottage

    Colerne, near Bath

    Ref: W44078

Pudding Cottage is furnished with individual pieces sourced from the many antique and interior shops in the area, and finished with some individual vintage touches. Located in the picturesque Wiltshire village of Colerne, which has its own local amenities, the World Heritage city of Bath is just 7 miles away. Some of Bath’s finest attractions include the Roman spa baths, the sweeping Georgian crescents, the magnificent abbey, the thermae spa, Pulteney Bridge and weir, and a dazzling array of individual shops, museums, galleries and restaurants. The nearby ’chocolate box’ villages of Lacock and Castle Combe are often used as TV and film locations and well worth a visit. Corsham was also used as a backdrop for the Poldark series. Bradford-on-Avon is set on the River Avon and the Kennet and Avon canal, and is often referred to as a mini version of Bath. It has a lively weekly market, several pubs, cafes and restaurants, a medieval tythe barn, and good shopping. Colerne is situated on the southern edge of the Cotswolds, with the Cotswolds Way footpath running nearby, and well situated for exploring the honey coloured villages within this area. Also within easy reach are the maritime city of Bristol, Stonehenge, Westonbirt Arboretum, the Badminton Estate, and Longleat House and Safari Park. Shop, pub and restaurant 200 yards.
