Palm Tree Cottage offers cosy and comfortable accommodation for couples or small families, and has also been adapted for wheelchairs and accessibility. Shoreham Beach is a calm, unspoilt beach and is classed as a local nature reserve. Over the years it has become one of the most popular destinations for kite surfing in the UK, as well as for water skiing, windsurfing and swimming. The boardwalk at the local beach stretches over a mile and offers stunning views across the south coast and River Adur. Shoreham-by-Sea is approximately a 10-minute walk away, and has a selection of shops, pubs and eateries. Historic Shoreham Airport is also close by.
As well as scenic walks from the door and in the South Downs National Park, the property lies within easy driving distance of Devil’s Dyke and the Chanctonbury Ring. There are plenty of attractions nearby including cosmopolitan Brighton with Royal Pavilion, marina, The Lanes, extensive shopping, horse racing, theatres, bars, clubs, art galleries and seaside entertainment, Goodwood House, Amberley Museum, Parham House, polo at Midhurst, Petworth House and Nymans. Other places to visit include West Dean Gardens, Hickstead, Bramber Castle ruins, Chichester with its cathedral, Goodwood Racecourse, Arundel Castle and many National Trust properties and gardens.
