If outdoor spaces are your forte, Trentham Gardens is for you. Home to the Monkey Forest, it also has a shopping village, Aerial Extreme and the gardens themselves. Other parks include Central Forest Park, Hanley Park and the beautiful Burslem Park.
There are numerous indoor activities, including leisure centres, a climbing centre and theatres for culture lovers or you could take a train ride or even hire a boat to cruise along the waterways.
