There are also ruins of an Elizabethan manor house, restored 14th-century dovecote and ox farmyard of the 18th and 19th century. Quebec Barn (ref 26956) was used as local headquarters by Canadian forces in WW ll. Walking plus cycle trails nearby, Seven Sisters Country Park, 1 mile, and a secluded beach 1½ miles. Cycle through the woods to the lighthouse, or down the lanes and breath the fresh air whilst spotting birds such as buzzards and egrets.
