    This spectacular accommodation was constructed in 1821 as the brewing hall of a former brewery supplying around 14 pubs in Freshford, of which only one remains today. The Brewery ceased production in the 1890s and tragically fell into disrepair for the next 60 years. It then had a diverse range of uses in the 20th century from a paper store to an air raid shelter for the local school during WWII. In the 1970s Jeremy Fry, of Fry’s Turkish Delight fame, came to the rescue and converted it into a private home.
