Excellent beaches and seaside entertainment can be enjoyed at Weston Super Mare and Brean, and there are many charming villages to be explored, along with the rugged landscape of Exmoor National Park, famous for the native ponies. The Georgian Heritage city of Bath is easily reached with its beautiful architecture, Roman Baths, Abbey and fine selection of shops and restaurants. Several golf clubs are available locally together with horse riding, coarse fishing and trout fishing at Chew Valley and Blagdon Lakes. Very good local inns and places to eat. For adults looking for a bit of company in the evening, there’s an on-site licensed bar/lounge that throws weekly quizzes and games of bingo. There’s also Somerset Evening once a week that’s ideal for trying Somerset cider and cheese over a game of skittles.

    From the splendours found in the city of Bath to the wide expanses of Exmoor, the farm provides a convenient base for touring all the area’s attractions. There’s the enchanting village of Glastonbury, famous for its tor; the beautiful city of Wells with its stunning cathedral; and the world-famous Cheddar Gorge and Caves all within easy reach of the property. For those of you who love to shop, Clarks Village is a must-visit: a major factory outlet in the nearby village of Street.
