Bishop''s Castle is a small, yet perfectly formed medieval market town set in the charming rural scenery of South Shropshire. This is the place to get away from it all amongst unspoilt countryside dotted with sleepy villages and picture postcard views.

Designated as an Area Outstanding Natural Beauty, the countryside around Bishop''s Castle is perfect for anyone looking to get back to nature and enjoy some of the most delightful walking country in the UK. There are plenty of trails for all abilities, from the long distance Shropshire Way to some lovely, shorter, circular strolls around the town’s environs. There are numerous friendly pubs in the area at which to rest and enjoy a pint of locally brewed ale and some delicious home cooked food.

Walking, gliding, paragliding and pony trekking are amongst the numerous outdoor holiday activities the area is famous for. The Long Mynd, Offa’s Dyke, the Shropshire Way and the Stiperstones are all nearby. Shops, pubs and restaurant 1¼ miles.
