The magnificent Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, beautiful village of Castleton, the Dove and Manifold Valleys, plus the attractive local towns of Buxton, Ashbourne, Bakewell and Matlock, can all be reached in under 30 minutes. Ashbourne has a good range of shops, while Buxton has superb architecture including the Opera House. Bakewell has a wonderful setting on the River Wye, and is of course home of the Bakewell Pudding.
