Hayfield View is a family owned, pet friendly, cosy and welcoming holiday property just a hop, skip and jump away from Hayfield, one of the prettiest villages in the Peak District. Once home to a collection of rescued chickens, this property has now been converted into a home from home for weary walkers with an upstairs kitchen and living area, and downstairs bedroom with wet room. It has been designed in such a way as to take full advantage of the views across the surrounding fields and hills. Situated close to the owner’s main house, it can be found amongst nine acres of heather moorland and pasture, but is also within easy walking distance of the guest parking area and an additional holiday property, Hayfield View (CC412060).
When it’s time to get out and about, it’s an easy drive to the Peak District highlights such as the Hope Valley and Castleton, 20 minutes, the lovely spa town of Buxton, 20 minutes, Bakewell and the magnificent historic houses of Chatsworth and Haddon Hall, 30 minutes, or even the bright lights of Manchester, 45 minutes. You may never get that far however since there’s so many amazing walking and mountain biking routes direct from the door with the gate at the rear of the property opening directly onto a lane leading up into the hills, and freedom! This property can be booked together with Hayfield View (CC412060) to accommodate up to six guests.
