Bel House (ref UKC14) is located adjacent to the B6344 and used to be the lodge keepers house. The Stables (ref UKC12) and Priory Cottage (ref UKC13) are down a private drive, the first half of which is tarmac, the second an unmetalled road. Renovated throughout, The Stables nestles in a stunning setting next to the River Coquet adjacent to the Priory and its grounds. It is ideal for family and friends. Priory Cottage is attached to The Stables, a cosy property sleeping two people with its own entrance and seating area. Retaining much charm and character, it’s the perfect cottage for couples. Bel House is also suitable for family or friends. It has its own south-facing garden and separate entrance. Once a detached property, this has now grown into a terraced cottage, which along with the barns and some outbuildings, and makes up Brinkburn Home Farm, where the owner’s office and home is located.
The cottages each provide complimentary dressing gowns, toiletries and welcome packs, making your stay as comfortable and relaxing as possible. They are set within 35 acres of private woodland and countryside, with access to woodland walks, and fishing directly from the door. Dedicated off road parking is available for each property. These unusual, historical properties provide the perfect getaway for families and friends, and celebration packages for birthdays and anniversaries are available, including a private chef, pampering and beauty packages, all bespoke on request (at cost) arranged direct with the owner. Each is furnished differently, and maintains character with imaginatively styled attention to detail throughout. Many period features have been retained in these listed buildings with luxury bathrooms and contemporary open-plan kitchen and living areas. The priory is managed by English Heritage and is open between 10am and 5:30pm Thursday - Monday between Easter and October. When it’s closed, guests are welcome to wander the grounds at their leisure.
