Situated at the edge of the Northumberland National Park and close to the historic town of Wooler, six miles, Mill Barn is ideally located for visits to the historic landmarks of Holy Island, 17 miles, Bamburgh Castle and beaches, 21 miles, Alnwick Castle, 24 miles and the puffin islands of Farne, 23 miles (and short boat crossing in season). Countryside walks along the Pennine Way and into the Cheviot Hills, golf, riding and fishing are also local activities.
