Alternatively, you can take a boat trip from Blakeney Quay or Morston Harbour, for your chance to spot basking seal colonies around Blakeney Point.

    Pleasant walking is to be found amidst unspoilt parklands, where a gently meandering river makes its way towards the sea. The area around Wells-next-the-Sea, 5 miles, is great for pine-scented woodland walks, as well as lazy days on the beach. The town itself boasts a vibrant town centre, a picturesque quay and a small working harbour, perfect for crabbing and finding fresh seafood. There’s some excellent walking to be had up and down the coast, and further east are the more traditional seaside towns of Cromer and Sheringham, each with an array of attractions, including Splash Leisure Centre, golf courses, horse riding, and wide stretches of golden sands.
