"The Forge was a beautiful, comfortable cottage. The was extremely well equipped. The owners supplied most things you would expect from a good hotel, eg. plenty of thick fluffy towels, a welcome basket of food, lots of lovely magazines and information about the local area and so much more. We were receive a personal welcome from the owner and she invited us to called a her home at any time if we had a problem. There was no pressure to leave the cottage by 10am. Again we were given a very friendly farewell. The owner were very friendly and helpful but never intrusive despite of living next door. I would strongly recommend The Forge for a comfortable get away from it all. Oct 2012."

" We would say that this one of the best cottages we have ever stayed in. The owners were extremely helpful, polite and courteous. The cottage was extremely well presented, good furnishings and homely accommodation. We could not really fault anything about it and would recommend it to anyone seeking that extra little touch.
