Healing village has a hotel offering wonderful dinners and afternoon teas, a village shop and a post office, as well as a fish and chip shop. Situated close to the north east coastline, with easy access from the main road networks, it makes a great base from which to explore the area, with good walks and cycle routes from the door. Alternatively, it is just as admirable to simply sit back and relax in the private hot tub. The nearest seaside resort is Cleethorpes, where you will find sandy beaches and traditional seaside attractions, including a multi-screen cinema and ten pin bowling. Situated just 5 miles away are the Lincolnshire Wolds, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is also the highest area of land in eastern England. If you fancy heading further afield, then the Humber Bridge is 25 miles away, and is the seventh-longest in the world connecting the East Riding of Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire. Alternatively, for a bit of retail therapy and a spot of lunch with friends, or a visit to The Deep (a huge aquarium), Hull is situated 30 miles away. Beverley Minster, one of the largest parish churches in the Church of England, is situated 35 miles away, and is considered a Gothic masterpiece by many people. The cathedral city of Lincoln, some 15 miles to the west , is rich in history combined with independent boutique shopping, great arts and culture and many places to eat and drink. Within 30 yards of the barn is a well-stocked trout lake for fly fishing and with 40 acres to walk around, there is plenty of opportunity to exercise yourself and your dogs.
