Market Rasen

The town of Market Rasen lies on the western edge of the beautiful Lincolnshire Fens, perfect for the great outdoors, peaceful walks and rural charm and the historic city of Lincoln is a short distance to the south for some cultural days out.

Head for the farmers'' market on the first Tuesday of every month and you''ll find a wide range of local produce, such as Lincolnshire Plum Bread, Haslet or tasty Lincolnshire sausages ; just the ticket for taking back to your cottage for a family treat.

The town is probably best known for Market Rasen Racecourse, which is a National Hunt racecourse with a year-round fixtures programme, attracting visitors from across the area.
