Find cottages in Boston

Located on a river close to the sea, Boston has roots as a medieval trading port and today is a thriving and vibrant market town, with Spalding to the south and the popular coastal resort of Skegness to the north. Its traditional medieval layout has a number of impressive and iconic buildings.

The town centre itself is compact with lots going on. It has a long history of market trading and you will find all sorts of different fairs and markets throughout the year, with fresh food, livestock and even special markets selling things from bicycles to fabric! The shopping areas are diverse, with plenty of well-known names but also with a large number of independent and specialist boutique shops, offering something for everyone.

Along the river banks you will find numerous great places to grab a bite to eat or have a drink or two, while in the evening there are options for traditional pub entertainment, the excellent local theatre and a cinema, as well as leisure activities like the local swimming pool.

The town''s biggest and most famous feature is the impressive and ancient Boston Stump, the huge 272 foot tower of St Botolph''s Church, which can be seen for miles around. A fine example of medieval stone-masonry that attracts visitors from all over the UK.

Boston is a very pretty and welcoming traditional market town with plenty to do so why not arrange to stay in one of our cottages in Boston and the surrounding area and sample some Lincolnshire hospitality for yourself.
