This lovingly restored, traditional, Lakeland slate, terraced cottage is set at the top of Ambleside, at the foot of Kirkstone Pass, which makes this the ideal location for those who want to explore both the fells and the town without having to get into a car. Ambleside sits at the northern tip of Lake Windermere and offers a fantastic variety of good restaurants, cafes, traditional Lakeland inns, shops etc all surrounded by stunning scenery. Direct access from the door leads to the slopes of Wansfell and the surrounding fell range, ideal for walking and cycling. Once you have exhausted yourselves with all that the area has to offer, Bramare is a comfy spot to return to and chill out in front of the wood burner or, if the weather is favourable, why not sit out in the garden with a glass of wine and enjoy your surroundings?
