    This National Trust owned 3-bedroomed cottage is part of a large Victorian house, which is ideally situated opposite Cowes seafront. There is a spacious well-equipped kitchen with flagstone flooring and comfortable living room that has an old non-working range cooker as a delightful feature. Upstairs there are three bedrooms, a separate toilet and two bathrooms, one with a roll-top bath and the other with a walk-in shower cubicle.
    East Rosetta started its life as part of the works office for one of the ropewalks of Cowes. The large lawned garden which neighbours with Rosetta Cottage is a place to relax and watch the yachts and ships sail past. A plaque to commemorate the first meeting between the parents of Sir Winston Churchill is embedded in the pavement opposite East Rosetta, it was here in Cowes Week 1873 that Lord Randolph Churchill first met and proposed to Jenny Jerome, the eldest daughter of the then proprietor of the New York Times.
    This holiday home is in a location where you can take full advantage of the sea views, and it is only ½-mile away to a variety of shops, bars and restaurants of this popular sailing town. There are an abundance of things to see and do on this lovely island which include Osborne House, a former royal residence that was built for Queen Victoria and Prince Albert as a summer home and rural retreat, just 10 miles away. Robin Hill Country Park offering exciting rides and adventure play, all set in beautiful rolling down land and forest is 7½ miles away. Calbourne Water Mill, 10 miles away, is the only working water mill on the Isle of Wight which also features a small War Museum, rural exhibits and a café.
