From the top gate of the farm, guests can walk up to the summit of Dunkery Beacon, where the views are far-reaching. During your stay, there is plenty to do and enjoy, with superb scenery and walking on the South West Coastal Path or inland on Exmoor where you will find points of interest such as Withypool, Lanacre and Tarr Steps. Exmoor is also nominated as a ’Dark Sky’ area, making it an excellent location to study the sky at night. Along the coast, there are the Victorian towns of Lynmouth and Lynton, famous for the Watersmeet Gorge (NT), Valley of the Rocks and funicular cliff railway. Looking towards Minehead, there is the promenade to walk along whilst eating an ice cream, and the town also has a good array of shops and other amenities; you can also take a trip on the famous West Somerset Steam Railway.     A few miles from Triscombe is Exmoor’s spectacular northern coast, the highest in Britain, where steep cliffs plunge into the sea. You can enjoy fantastic coastal walks here along the cliff top coastal path, with dramatic views of the coastline and out to sea. From Dunkery Beacon (1707ft) there are panoramic views to Wales, Dartmoor and beyond. Minehead is only 10 miles away with a beach, Butlins, harbour and fantastic steam railway. Historic Dunster (NT castle) is one of the prettiest villages on Exmoor. Porlock and Dulverton offer interesting shops and tea shops where you can enjoy a traditional Somerset cream tea. There are many places to visit locally including Knightshayes Court, a splendid Victorian house at Tiverton.

You can enjoy fantastic coastal walks here along the cliff top coastal path, with dramatic views of the coastline and out to sea. From Dunkery Beacon (1707ft) there are panoramic views to Wales, Dartmoor and beyond. Minehead is only 10 miles away with a beach, Butlins, harbour and fantastic steam railway. Historic Dunster (NT castle) is one of the prettiest villages on Exmoor. Porlock and Dulverton offer interesting shops and tea shops where you can enjoy a traditional Somerset cream tea. There are many places to visit locally including Knightshayes Court, a splendid Victorian house at Tiverton.


    Other holiday pursuits include fishing and sailing at Wimbleball Lake, and horse riding, mountain biking and hiking across the moor. There is so much to do locally, the owners hope to welcome you back time and time again.
