The Victorian villages of Lynmouth and Lynton, famous for the Watersmeet Gorge (NT), Valley of the Rocks and the funicular cliff railway. Looking towards Minehead there is the promenade to enjoy a walk and an ice cream, as well as having a good array of shops and other amenities. A visit to the enchanting, medieval Dunster Castle (NT), with its beautiful terraced gardens, deer park and mill will make for an interesting day out. Porlock and Porlock Weir hold plenty of charm and interest to those who visit the area. Shop and pub 500 yards.

    Whilst staying at Underway, there is plenty to do. Enjoy the natural wonders of Exmoor and the dramatic coastline in this region. There is superb scenery and walking on the South West Coastal Path or inland on Exmoor, with highlights such as Dunkery Beacon and the village of Withypool.
