Featuring a fantastic leisure complex, with shared use for all guests staying here on holiday, the facilities are open all year around and offer something for all ages and abilities. There is an indoor heated swimming pool and a separate shallow heated toddlers pool. The badminton and squash courts are purpose built to a very high specification. In addition there is a snooker room, table tennis, skittles and short mat bowls. In the grounds surrounding the cottages, there are large open lawn areas to play and picnic, some BBQ areas, a tennis court and approach golf.
    Wisteria House and Garden Cottage can be booked separately to provide two holiday homes or one large property, making these perfect for a large family gathering or party, and ideal for those who want their own private space whilst being on holiday with the family. Wisteria House offers guests exceptional comfort in a spacious and very contemporary design of the property. The kitchen is sleek and has everything you could need to cater for a large family. The dining area is spacious with a huge table that can seat everyone together. The large living room is fabulous with bright and airy space, with three sets of patio doors leading on to the patio and garden. Each bedroom is decorated with fresh colours and excellent quality comfortable beds. Garden Cottage is a smaller more traditional barn conversion with a lovely conservatory overlooking the garden.     Higher Poulston is set in a rural farming countryside just on the outskirts of the vibrant town of Totnes, nestling on the River Dart. The friendly owners live on site and are happy to help. Many visitors find themselves revisiting Higher Poulston year after year. This is a very family friendly holiday complex; the ideal place for mums and dads to relax in, children to have fun, and grandparents to join in too. There is plenty of parking for all on site and the properties share the superb purpose built leisure facilities that Higher Poulston offers.
    Set within its own 6 acres of private land, tucked away along a quiet country lane and close to a working dairy farm. Away from the farm there are many interesting places to explore. There is a little tourist information room on site and in here you will find plenty of ideas for days out and about.     These five properties are set within 240 acres of unspoilt farmland. If you are looking for adventure and an adrenalin rush, then Wheeldon Farm Adventure Cottages (refs 27214, 27215, 27216, 29983 and UKC748), which are located in a working farm environment and nestled within the South Hams, make the ultimate holiday cottage destination. Pet friendly, they lie on land that includes miles of footpaths and green lanes, ideal for walking, cycling or 4x4 driving. Guests can also enjoy a range of on-site facilities suitable for all the family including a heated indoor swimming pool with a private changing room and shower, plus a fitness room within the swimming pool complex overlooking the pool, with a cross trainer and treadmill. There is also a BMX and skate park with ramps, but visitors must bring their own helmet and safety wear otherwise they will not be admitted without them. The cottages lie just a short distance from some of South Devon’s finest beaches and tourist attractions.
    The Wheeldon Off-Road Centre, adjacent to Adventure Cottages, boasts a purpose-built, 30,000 square foot indoor arena and junior training circuit, and is the ideal year-round venue for the whole family to learn to ride a motorcycle in a fun and controlled environment. All children staying on holiday for 7 days in one of the five cottages at Wheeldon Farm are given a free private full taster bike session in the highly acclaimed Junior Academy, providing children with the opportunity to experience the ultimate two-wheel off-road adventure for the first time. The instructors at Wheeldon Farm are all ACU accredited and will guide the children through their paces every step of the way. For some activities, all the kit, clothing, boots, gloves, helmets and fun bikes are provided. All that’s needed is the enthusiasm to have a great deal of fun! Suited to all ages from 7 years to fit seniors. Children’s taster sessions are free of charge, with adult and subsequent children’s riding available to those staying in the cottages at a preferential rate.
    In addition to all the motorbike fun, a range of other activities can also be organised locally, including horse riding, golf, go-karting and trout and carp fishing. Also, clay pigeon shooting, air rifle and archery are available on-site - these are run by a fully qualified instructor and all equipment is provided. The activities run on a Monday, Thursday and Sunday. Prices will be charged accordingly when bookings are made. The master bedroom in each property features a flatscreen TV. Home-made meals can be pre-ordered and delivered to the cottages (arranged direct with the owner). If you are looking for adventure and an adrenalin rush, then Wheeldon Farm Adventure Cottages (refs 27214, 27215, 27216, 29983 and UKC748), which are located in a working farm environment and nestled within the South Hams, make the ultimate holiday cottage destination. Pet friendly, they lie on land that includes miles of footpaths and green lanes, ideal for walking, cycling or 4x4 driving. Guests can also enjoy a range of on-site facilities suitable for all the family including a heated indoor swimming pool with a private changing room and shower, plus a fitness room within the swimming pool complex overlooking the pool, with a cross trainer and treadmill. There is also a BMX and skate park with ramps, but visitors must bring their own helmet and safety wear otherwise they will not be admitted without them. The cottages lie just a short distance from some of South Devon’s finest beaches and tourist attractions.
    The Wheeldon Off-Road Centre, adjacent to Adventure Cottages, boasts a purpose-built, 30,000 square foot indoor arena and junior training circuit, and is the ideal year-round venue for the whole family to learn to ride a motorcycle in a fun and controlled environment. All children staying on holiday for 7 days in one of the five cottages at Wheeldon Farm are given a free private full taster bike session in the highly acclaimed Junior Academy, providing children with the opportunity to experience the ultimate two-wheel off-road adventure for the first time. The instructors at Wheeldon Farm are all ACU accredited and will guide the children through their paces every step of the way. For some activities, all the kit, clothing, boots, gloves, helmets and fun bikes are provided. All that’s needed is the enthusiasm to have a great deal of fun! Suited to all ages from 7 years to fit seniors. Children’s taster sessions are free of charge, with adult and subsequent children’s riding available to those staying in the cottages at a preferential rate.
    In addition to all the motorbike fun, a range of other activities can also be organised locally, including horse riding, golf, go-karting and trout and carp fishing. Also, clay pigeon shooting, air rifle and archery are available on-site - these are run by a fully qualified instructor and all equipment is provided. The activities run on a Monday, Thursday and Sunday. Prices will be charged accordingly when bookings are made. The master bedroom in each property features a flatscreen TV. Home-made meals can be pre-ordered and delivered to the cottages (arranged direct with the owner).
