With its historic church, thatched cottages and traditional old inns, the village of Chulmleigh in North Devon is almost a throwback to days gone by. Time really does seem to stand still here.

Despite being only 20 miles from the city of Exeter, Chulmleigh is located on a remote hilltop in the midst of the beautiful Devon countryside. The overall atmosphere here is one of peace and tranquillity.

The village’s location, midway between Exmoor and Dartmoor, means that there are plenty of opportunities for hikers and mountain bikers to take in the country air.
