Historic Cartmel, famous for the Steeplechase meetings, 11th Century priory, sticky toffee pudding and some excellent restaurants, including the Michelin starred L’Enclume, is just a 15 minute drive away whilst the National Trust’s Fell Foot Park is only a short distance and offers superb views of the lower reaches of Lake Windermere.
Ground Floor: Property has night storage heating, has two connecting rooms and comprises:
Kitchen/breakfast area: With quality electric cooker, hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave.
Lounge/diner: The spacious comfortable lounge is pleasantly appointed with TV and a good supply of books, local information, maps and walking details are provided.
First Floor: Mezzanine level with second TV and double bed for occasional use.
Bedroom 1: With double bed and en-suite with shower over bath, wash basin, WC, shaver point and heated towel rail.
All electric, bed linen and towels included. Sorry, no cot available.Outside: There is a large gravelled parking /garden area. The attached barn offers storage (bikes etc) and houses the washing machine,tumble dryer, iron and board and outdoor furniture.
