The ‘Lady of the Lake’ dates back to 1877 and a journey down the 7.5 mile lake is a leisurely way to take in the spectacular scenery, with opportunities to explore Howtown and Pooley Bridge.
The Sailing Centre at Glenridding offer dinghies, kayaks, traditional boats and windsurfs for hire. Take to the water for an expedition with your family or book a lesson with one of the centre’s expert sailing tutors to really get a taste of life on the lakes.
