    The north coast beaches of Rock, Polzeath, Newquay and Padstow are only a short drive away, and St Ives, Penzance and Lands End are an easy day trip. Lanhydrock cycle hub is close by and is perfect for cyclists of all abilities, as well as the Camel Trail from Bodmin to Wadebridge and Padstow. Fowey is a stunning historic little fishing village with tales of smugglers, beautiful shops, restaurants, quaint cafes and a lovely little beach. It is a firm favourite for locals and visitors alike, even home to some local celebrities. Go deep sea fishing or kayak along the river to the village of Lerryn, the setting for "The wind in the willows".
