    The town of Looe is situated around a small harbour and along the steep-sided valley of the river Looe, which flows between east and west Looe to the sea beside a sandy beach. Polperro is situated on the River Pol, 4 miles west of the neighbouring town of Looe, it is well-known for its idyllic location, surrounded by tightly packed old fishermen’s houses which makes it attractive to tourists, particularly in the summer months.
    Days out include Carnglaze Caverns, three caverns of cathedral proportions, hand created by local slate miners. During your tour you will go 150 metres into the hillside and 60 metres below ground, via a flight of 60 steps. In the lower chambers you will find the subterranean lake with its crystal clear blue/green water. Fowey is situated on the south coast of Cornwall between Looe and Mevagissey. For amusement indoors, a selection of reading material is also provided, together with games, puzzles, DVDs and a 42in television. A local artist displays her work in the barns of scenes around Cornwall, which can be purchased and taken home as a memento. Lambing also takes place on the farm during the first few months of the year up to the beginning of April.
