Harbourside Apartment is so close to the beautiful harbour that you feel part of the village the moment you arrive in Mevagissey. Perched above the harbour, the sights and sounds of gently bobbing boats, the cry of the gulls and the waves lapping the edge of the harbour can be heard from the balcony that overlooks the open sea beyond. The narrow, tiny lanes are lined with pretty cafes, gift and craft shops and local pubs that serve award winning ales and local food. The sandy beaches and isolated coves dominate the coastline and provide a beautiful natural attraction. Many of the beaches in the immediate vicinity have interesting rock formations, the perfect excuse to go crabbing in the many rock pools. Take the half hour ferry ride across the bay to Fowey with the possibility of spotting wildlife en route, or to fully appreciate the natural splendour of the area there is a virtually traffic free walking and cycling trail leading from Mevagissey to the Lost Gardens of Heligan. The cycle trail can also be used to get to the village of Pentewan with its cosy pub and non-working harbour that has been transformed into a sanctuary for wildlife and large sandy beach. South west of the village is the Roseland Peninsula, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with golden sandy beaches, quaint villages, quiet lanes and coastal walks. For visitors in search of stately homes and expansive estates and gardens to explore then this area of Cornwall is a haven for magnificent National Trust properties. Stroll around landscaped gardens and inspirational surroundings, the perfect spot to relax in tranquillity or for a family picnic. Golf, sea fishing, cycling and surfing are all available locally. This 18th-century, Grade II listed town house has been lovingly updated to provide beautiful and comfortable holiday accommodation in the heart of the traditional fishing village of Mevagissey on Cornwall’s sub-tropical south coast. Set close to the working harbour that is home to the colourful Mevagissey fishing fleet, local shops, an abundance of restaurants, cafes and pubs all serving local food and local ales, Tregoney House provides the perfect base to enjoy the village and surrounding countryside and coastline.

Mevagissey is the perfect destination for all types of holiday, whether it is a peaceful break, beach holiday or activity break on this picturesque stretch of Cornwall. Sea fishing, boat trips and a ferry to Fowey leave the harbour during the season.
The beaches of Pentewan, Port Mellon and Gorran Haven are all easily accessible. A cycle track at Pentewan provides an alternative route to one of Cornwall’s and the country’s famous tourist attractions, the Eden Project. It joins a network of trails right into the heart of Cornwall’s historic china clay area. Other attractions in the area are Caerhays House and Garden, a vineyard and the Shipwreck and Heritage Centre at nearby Charlestown - home to tall sailing ships and a regular set used for film and TV programmes.
