Find cottages in Liskeard

An ancient market town in Cornwall, Liskeard, is situated close to Plymouth, Bodmin and the Devon border. It still retains its air of Victorian charm, with many shops still featuring their original interiors and frontages

Liskeard makes a great base from which to explore the surrounding areas, from its vantage point at the head of the Looe Valley. From here, you can easily access the coves and resorts of the Cornish coast or discover the natural beauty of Bodmin Moor. It would be a mistake, however, to simply use Liskeard as a place to stay, as it features many picturesque attractions itself.

While in Liskeard, take in the Liskeard and District Museum to find out more about the local area, or pay a visit to St Martin''s Church, one of the largest in the county, which dates right back to the 15th century.

Strolling around the pretty streets of Liskeard, taking in the scenery and visiting the shops makes for a relaxing break; see its weekly livestock market, one of the few remaining across Cornwall , and with day trips out to nearby attractions you can enjoy an all-round view of the area.

To get your holiday started, search holiday cottages in Liskeard today.
